16-Year-Old "The Voice" Winner Blows Away Audience And Judges With Neil Young Cover

Only a year ago, Sawyer Fredericks was living on a small farm in upstate New York, where he performed once a week at local farmers' markets. His natural talent and mature voice led him on to season 8 of "The Voice." He was named champion and signed a recording contract with Republic Records. He even won a new car, despite the fact that he still doesn't have a license.

What he may lack in age, Sawyer more than makes up for in musical talent. His cover of the 1972 Neil Young song "Old Man" was the showstopper of the evening, as Sawyer put his incredible talent and heart on display. So what is next for the teenager? He might take the advice of his coach Pharrell Williams and move back to the farm where he grew up. No matter what, it is clear Sawyer Fredericks has carved out his own space in the future of the music industry.
