If you've ever taken your car into the shop to get it looked at, you probably saw mechanics get down on their backs to get under the car. But what if you saw someone actually limbo dance underneath the car? Sound impossible?

It may be impossible for the rest of us but not for limbo dancer extraordinaire Shemika Charles. In front of a crowd of spectators, Shemika breaks the world record for limbo dancing by making a complete pass beneath a normal car.

Limbo dancing began on the island of Trinidad, but it was a 1957 film, "Fire Down Below", that brought the dance to Hollywood. Chubby Checker recorded "Limbo Rock," asking dancers the classic question, "How low can you go?" And, the rest was limbo history.
