3 Cute Puppies Combine Forces To Attack A Cabbage

Apr 22, 2015 By Christi Mulligan
Three precious Shiba Inu puppies are caught attacking a poor, helpless cabbage in their owner's garden. The first question that might be asked is - is it okay for dogs to have cabbage? The answer is a resounding yes.

Not only is it safe for dogs, but it is also quite beneficial. Although dogs naturally eat meat, the addition of leafy vegetables like cabbage offers vitamins to their diet that are harder to come by in their typical food. As with anything, though, moderation is important.

Known to be the smallest and oldest of all Japanese native breeds, the Shiba Inu was originally developed for hunting using sight and scent in the overgrown, mountainous areas of Japan. The AKC now considers it to be a non-sporting breed, which means the dog is usually bred for shows or as a pet. Very attentive, alert and active, the Shiba is in the AKC's top 50 most popular breeds of dogs.
