A Comedian With A Stutter Wins Over The Crowd By Turning His Negatives Into Positives

Drew Lynch is a comedian from Indiana who recently wowed the audience and the judges at "America's Got Talent." Ever since he was a young boy, Drew had dreams of heading to Hollywood and becoming an actor. Unfortunately, when he was 20 years old, an errant ball at a company softball event hit him in the throat and caused permanent damage to his speech. He gave up on his dream to become an actor for a while, realizing that there was no room for someone with his kind of speech impediment in Hollywood.

Eventually, however, he found comedy and learned to turn his negatives into positives. Instead of being ashamed or feeling bad about his disability, Drew is the first one to make light of it and crack a few jokes at his own expense. His hilarious routine had the whole room cracking up and earned him a surprise from Howie Mandel.
