The Vision Of Infinite Dimensions, a.k.a. The VOID, is a proposed entertainment center that would provide an immersive virtual reality experience paired with a physical environment and effects (i.e. a 4-D experience). In essence, it's like combining laser tag with virtual reality. The company plans on opening virtual entertainment centers (VECs) in multiple locations, so your neighborhood arcade might just be getting way, way cooler.

The company plans on using specialized headsets that will have substantially higher quality than current VR technology. Many commenters have noted that wireless VR headsets are currently an impossibility, but, theoretically, a mini computer and wireless unit could be embedded into the VR vest that The VOID experience features. Currently, the project seems to be largely in development, but here's hoping this virtual reality becomes an actual reality very soon.
