America's Dangerously Beautiful Diving Site

Feb 9, 2015
In the northeast portion of Wimberley, Texas, is a hidden place known as Jacob's Well, a perennial karstic spring that's become quite a popular swimming spot for locals. The spring's mouth has a 12-foot diameter and about 30 feet of vertical depth before it hits an angle, making it a perfect diving spot, as local Mitch Bergsma figured out.

Mitch Bergsma, currently residing in Austin, Texas, is an avid YouTuber who enjoys sharing his knowledge on things like scooters, wakeboarding, and scuba diving. As a big fan of GoPro, Mitch took his camera and filmed a day of free diving into Jacob's Well. The views he captured are absolutely incredible.
