An Artist Created This Bike Path Inspired By Van Gogh's Starry Night. The End Result Is Unreal.

The Dutch have a proud art tradition that spans centuries, but one of their most notable artists is Post-Impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh. There's a museum dedicated to him, housing the world's largest archive of his works, in Amsterdam, and his works are taught as the canon of Dutch history in schools.

Recently, Dutch multimedia artist Daan Roosegaarde, of Studio Roosegaarde, collaborated with construction company Heijmans to create a tribute to van Gogh in a gorgeous glowing bike path set to look like the late painter’s famous 1889 work, "Starry Night". It’s a kilometer long and is located in Brabant, the province where van Gogh was raised.
