Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is known for its ultramodern architecture, extreme sports, luxury shopping, lifestyle and, of course, a very active nightlife scene.
With this in mind, it would seem to be the perfect place for an underwater tennis court. What? Yes, that's right: Polish architect Krysztof Kotala and his design firm, 8+8 Concept Studio, have recently released designs of his vision.
Nestled just off the coast of Dubai, the project would require an estimated 108-foot-wide glass pane to create the visual represented in the designs. Just keep this in mind: a standard glass pane is about 32 feet wide, so it would be quite a stretch to make this vision a reality. But Dubai is no stranger to innovation of all kinds. In fact, it is already home to the world's highest tennis court.
