At This Tennessee High School, The Coolest Thing You Can Do Is Be Nice

After seeing one person outside of the school disrespect their administrator, students took initiative to push the notion of being nice. Some teens were even featured on a bulletin for the extent of their kindness. Independence High's influx of kind acts inspired teens to declare one special student as Coming Home King.
As a result of Independence High School's kindness initiative, the doctrine has been adopted by all 41 schools in their county.
Students are always striving to the be "cool kid" in school and find the latest trends. Well, at Independence High School in Thompson's Station, Tennessee, being nice is what's got students fitting in.
