Famous for its precise movements and demanding practice regimes, ballet requires an immense amount of dedication. Outside of just being able to execute the maneuvers, ballet requires a strict diet coupled with physical agility, strength and grace to convey the proper emotions through the body's movements.
One thing that most successful ballet dancers have in common is that they all started at a very young age. Similar to gymnastics or learning an instrument, being taught from early childhood makes it more likely that the movements become second nature. Besides that, it is always beneficial to get children involved in physical activities from a very young age.
