For those of you wanting a little more context, here you go: Every year, the Japanese pop group AKB48 holds a Rock Paper Scissors tournament to determine which singers will be a part of their new single. You see, AKB48 has over 100 members, so being one of the seven selected to perform that year's new song is a really big deal.
