Lonnie Mimms loves computers. In fact, he loves them so much that he still has every computer he ever owned. What became a hobby at first has now turned into a full-fledged history exhibit, complete with over 30 years of technological history. Mimms' collection consists primarily of Apple products, which he has been collecting since the company founded in 1976. An original Apple 1, an original Lisa and an original Xerox Alto are what Mimms describes as the centerpieces of his collection.

Today, Lonnie Mimms features his massive collection in a museum located in Atlanta, Georgia. The facility is called The Computer Museum of America and takes guests through the story of Apple's history using the products he has collected. Meanwhile, Mimms plans to keep growing his collection while also trying to keep up with the latest technology. So next time you're wondering what to do with an old computer, you might want to hang on to it. Maybe, one day, it will be the centerpiece of a museum.
