Manoj Bhargava is the billionaire founder of 5-Hour Energy, which has become a household name over the last few years (we used to straight up LIVE on those back in my touring musician days). After having given millions of hours of energy to countless sleep-deprived masses, he's now focusing his personal energy on something much nobler - bringing power and water to millions in need.
Bhargava's Stage 2 Innovations laboratory in Farmington Hills, Michigan is one of the most well-funded labs in the world and is working on two major projects which are the focus on the Indian-born entrepreneur's altruistic efforts. One device, called the "Rain Maker" can purify 1,000 gallon of any water (even polluted water) into drinking water in an hour. The other project is called "Free Electric," which uses a pedal bike that creates 24 hours of free, clean electric energy from one hour of human effort. This video shows some of the projects he's working on, documented in a new film called "Billions In Change" which hopes to encourage more people to use innovation and technology to find viable solutions to the world's problems.
