Here at Wimp, we see a lot of animal rescue videos. They usually involve dogs, cats and even the occasional donkey. That's why we were so impressed by this video featuring a man rescuing a small bird who had nearly drowned. The bird is a Great Kiskadee, which is native to many South American countries. The man in the video performs CPR on the small bird, managing to get it dry and breathing in only a few minutes.
Some viewers have expressed concern over whether or not the man injured the bird while giving it a heart massage. We're also unsure if the bird was ready to be released into the wild so shortly after its injury. While there is no way to tell for certain, it's always a good idea to contact a veterinarian, even if you think you've done enough for the animal in question.
