BMX Athlete Jumps From One Bike To Another In Midair

Extreme sports athletes are known for the crazy, seemingly impossible things they do, but this stunt has got to be the wildest one I've ever seen. American BMX rider Pat "Big Daddy" Laughlin is known for his ability to do bike-to-bike transfers, but even his die-hard fans agree this was his best one yet. At a BMX event in Shanghai, China, Laughlin decided to attempt the stunt purely for his own enjoyment. He had only spent about 90 minutes familiarizing himself with this particular ramp before he decided to try this out.

Starting at the top of a giant ramp, he drops in and then launches himself a good 5-6 feet up and over before smoothly landing on the next bike and dropping onto the next ramp. The slightest miscalculation could have been disastrous for "Big Daddy" Laughlin's hopes of becoming a real daddy some day, and it did take him three attempts (where he was thankfully uninjured) before succeeding.
