Boy Loses His Stuffed Animal At The Airport But The Airport Staff Make Up For It In The Best Way Possible

There are not too many things more traumatic for a child than losing their favorite stuffed animal, especially when that stuffed animal is as cute as the one owned by 6-year-old Owen Lake. Owen loves the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes, and when he realized he left his stuffed Hobbes at an airport in Florida he thought he would never see his friend again. Fortunately, the employees at Tampa International Airport who found the lost Hobbes had other plans in mind.

While Hobbes was stranded at the airport waiting for Owen to return, he set out on an epic adventure with the airport staff. They took him through the coolest spots at the airport all while documenting it for Owen to see. When Owen and his family finally returned, not only was Hobbes waiting for him but the entire airport staff who presented him with a picture book filled with all of Hobbes’ adventures.

Taking a visit to Air Traffic Control. Hopefully he won’t have to delay any flights.

Learning what it takes to work at a hotel. It’s tough work having someone push you around all day.

Stopping for some much needed dessert. Even stuffed animals have to take a break from the Florida summers.

Time to put on a headset and get back to work.

Hobbes doesn’t look very excited for this next job. I hope he brought along his flame resistant suit.

Now it’s time to learn how to load luggage.

Reunited and it feels so good. It was a fun adventure, but Hobbes looks much happier to be back in the arms of his friend.
