Jeanne Robertson has always loved the spotlight of the stage. Famous for her unique brand of humor, you may be surprised to learn that she reigned as Miss North Carolina in 1963. She would eventually go on to become that year's "Miss Congeniality" at the Miss America competition. She credits the entire experience as what got her into her current career as humorist, comedian and public speaker.
At the age of 72, Jeanne is starting to get on in years, but she shows no signs of slowing down. She still travels across the United States performing for thousands of people. In fact, she spoke at the White House for National Volunteer Week in April 2008.
