Diving and leaping catches are impressive, but they are nothing compared to what Francis Owusu just pulled off in a recent game against UCLA. The Stanford receiver caught the ball on the back of a defender while falling in the endzone for one of the most remarkable touchdowns you are ever likely to see. It may not be how the coach drew it up, but the trick play gave the Cardinal six points and led them to a big win over their conference rivals.
The play is reminiscent of another great catch made by former University of Alabama receiver Tyler Prothro. It may even be up there with the incredible catch made last year by Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr., a catch that many considered to be the greatest of all time.
