When this couple heard the news about the infamous "bucket bear," a bear running around for eight weeks with a bucket stuck on his head, they knew they had to do something. So, with the help of some strangers, Dean and Samantha went out in search of the bear to free him from the awful bucket.
On Labor Day, Dean and Samantha made the impressive rescue, but that isn't the only good deed they've done. The couple also runs a non-profit animal rescue in Clarion County, Pennsylvania. The rescue, which is appropriately named "Happily Ever After Rescue," is focused on rescuing, re-homing, and rehabilitating "bully breeds," such as pit bulls, boxers, mastiffs, bull terriers, and American bulldogs.
Heartwarming acts of love (and in this case, more than a little courage) like this are what truly shows the good in humanity. If every single one of us took the time to do even a small act of kindness for our fellow man or beast, what a wonderful world this would be.
