Check Out The Insane Landing That Made This Snowboarder Chip His Tooth
Mar 17, 2015
Competing since the age of 14 and boarding since he was 8 years old, Kadono has made his way to the podium more often than not. Kadono specializes and competes in slopestyle, where boarders try to combine big airs and technical tricks into one run. They are judged on overall impression, which includes execution, technical difficulty, style, variety and use of course features (things like rails, jumps, etc.).
Although he is dedicated to his craft and trains year-round, the off-season finds him spending time on his skateboard and with family and friends.
Yuki Kadono, who will be 19 this May, took charge of the world of snowboarding at the 2015 U.S. Open Snowboarding Championships. His third and final run of the tournament made history, when he landed a combination of back-to-back 1620s. This had never been done in a competition before.
