Volcano Divers Share Rarely Seen Footage Of A Lava Lake

According to VolcanoDiscovery.com the Ambrym volcano in the South Pacific Ring of Fire has been erupting continuously in some capacity since 2009. The volcano's crater, Marum, is something of an anomaly, one of the just seven permanent lava lakes in the entire world. Thanks to the thousand-degree temperatures and the crater's volatile nature this isn't the sort of spot you'd want to visit on vacation. Thankfully we have adventurers to go there for us.

Volcano drivers Sam Cossman and George Kourounis have taken it upon themselves to bring you this awe-inspiring footage straight from the mouth of Marum. According to the explorers more people have been to the Moon than visited this spectacular lake of fire on Earth. When you get a grasp of the incredible power they're standing in front of you'll understand why.
