Back in the day, my mom and dad were somewhat serial videotapers. I remember how proud my dad was when he got his first handheld camera. From that day on, no school play, no family vacation, no event was left unrecorded. Naturally, that meant we had a lot of VHS tapes all over the place.
With the advent of the digital age, however, VHS has become largely obsolete. These days, few people even own a VHS player anymore and, as a matter of fact, with streaming technology a lot of people don't even have DVD players anymore!
A few years ago I recall seeing some informal businesses that revolved around digitizing your old videos, but this video shows that for a relatively small investment, you can do it right at home.
