Do You Remember The 1980s? No? Here's An Instant Refresher.

Michael Galinsky was 20 years old and a student in 1989 when he took a month off to travel the country. In each place he visited, he documented the local shopping mall. Twenty-five years later, his work is a glimpse into a vanished world, a perfect archive of a fleeting collective conscious.

Galinsky's photos are published in his book, "Malls Across America". He is currently working on a new documentary series, "All the Rage".
