When you think of predators in nature, you probably don’t think of bramble. Sure, they can be annoying but what real harm can they do? Surprisingly, these are plants you don’t want to mess with. Sheep routinely get caught within the plant’s grasp, and if they are not rescued in time will succumb to the elements and end up as plant food.
Though bramble are not necessarily considered carnivorous, the evidence presented in this video presents a strong case that maybe they should be. Either way, you might want to be a little more cautious around these plants next time you see them, especially if you are a sheep.
