Even As A Singing Giraffe, Marvin Gaye's Soulfulness Is Undeniable

Jun 26, 2015 By Shannon Barbour
The legendary Marvin Gaye (1939-1984), known as Motown's Prince of Soul, has been immortalized in a plethora of ways. His music appears in dramatic films, documentaries and even snack commercials - you never know where his classic vocal styling will appear.

One thing we know for sure, it has never been done like this. Sure, we all love the fun of lip-synching and karaoke, but this guy goes above and beyond - literally. Call it an extended remix or a rather lengthy rendition of a love letter to lonely creatures - he was aiming for the sky. Suffice it to say, it's a well-balanced performance.
