Excited Sea Otters Love Their Holiday Treats.

Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, CA, is home to five, very frisky (and some might even say silly) rescued, southern sea otters. The five females, Abby, Rosa, Ivy, Gidget and Kit, were rescued because they can no longer survive in their own in the wild, but that doesn't make them any less entertaining.

These five are so entertaining that they have their own "otter cam" where viewers can watch them romp and wrestle at any time. The video features the second level of their exhibit where the otters can come up for air and play on the rocks. They love to play, lounge in ice buckets and take naps, among other antics.

In this video, the otters are enjoying a holiday treat. Aside from loving clams, sea otters love to eat ice and a lot of it! For Christmas, these otters were given holiday shaped ice, each "frosted" in clams. There truly is no better treat for these five, furry friends.
