First Graders Can Solve This Brain Teaser In Seconds, But Most Adults Can't. Can You?

Are you feeling smart? Then put yourself to the test with these brain teasers that were solved by first graders in China on a school entrance exam. In fact, these puzzles were so easy for the kids that the average solving time was only 20 seconds. However, what makes these puzzles so unique is that while they are relatively easy for children, they are incredibly difficult for adults. All of these puzzles rely on simple logic that comes naturally for children but not for us adults.

Think you’re up for the challenge? Give it a shot:

Did you get it? The answer is 87. If you’re anything like me then you’re not even close. The key to solving this brain teaser is realizing that these numbers refer to parking spots and the numbers are meant to be read from the perspective of the driver. This means that we are reading the numbers upside-down. So from right to left, the numbers would read 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91.

Seems pretty simple now, right? Try your luck on the next one:

Which way is this bus driving? Left (A) or Right (B)?

This one is easier than you might think, even though I stared at the bus for ten minutes and came up with nothing. The answer is A. This is because there’s no door shown on the bus which means that it must be driving to the left. Yes, it’s that easy.
