When you find a large egg, it's pretty exciting. It's not every day that the typical breakfast food gets super sized, but when it does, you probably hope to find two yolks in there. That's what YouTube user Elman511 was expecting when he discovered a giant egg among his hens. To his surprise, there was something even more amazing waiting inside: another fully formed egg. This is a very rare occurrence, but it is not unheard of to find an egg within an egg. Apparently, this happens while the hen is in the process of forming an egg. If another egg cell is released while she is forming the first egg, the second cell can envelope the first, creating what you see above. This kind of puts the whole "double yolk" phenomenon to shame, doesn't it?
