Glen Campbell’s Son Pays Tribute To His Father With An Emotional Rendition Of The Last Song Clen Wrote

Country music star Glen Campbell has had a long and illustrious career. In 2011, he was tragically diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Two years later, in January of 2013, he recorded his final song titled "I'm Not Gonna Miss You." The song talks about him leaving his family and the sad, creeping reality of his disease with lyrics such as "I'm still here, but yet I'm gone/I don't play guitar or sing my songs/They never defined who I am/The man that loves you 'til the end."

Sadly, due to his disease, Glen never got the chance to ever play the song live. That's where Shannon Campbell, Glen's son, comes in. As a tribute to his beloved father, he performed a stirring rendition of the song along right in the attic of the Glen's home in Nashville, Tennessee.
