Alaskan Grizzly Bear Encounters A Man's Camera

Naturalist Brad Josephs, a bear expert and leader of Natural Habitat Adventures expeditions, has spent plenty of time with bears all around the world, helping various photography and film crews get footage of the incredible animals. He has helped programs for networks like the BBC gather footage of bears in their habitats, so it shouldn't be surprising to learn that he has gathered a good deal of personal footage, as well.

This particular video was taken in Alaska. Brad turned on his GoPro camera (for the first time, according to him) and stepped back to let it film nearby grizzly bears. One bear was a little curious and decided to get a closer look, unfortunately for the camera. It is likely that the bear could smell Brad's scent, but let's hope that that isn't what provoked the reaction.
