Groom Turns His Wedding Vows Into Love Song Mashup

Jared Basham is not really an emotional guy, but he really loves his wife, Kyndra. That's why when it came time to start writing his wedding vows, it presented an interesting challenge for him. When the time came to actually say them, he decided that it didn't matter if he wasn't a poet with words to do his bride justice, because some of the best songwriters of the 1980s and 90s were.

Instead of reciting vows, Jared decided to express his love using some of his favorite lines from some of their favorite songs. He opens up with "You're The One That I Want" from the Grease soundtrack, before launching into All-4-One's "I Swear" with a little "I Will Always Love You" (Whitney Houston) thrown in for good measure. While Kyndra was deployed with the Air Force, Jared often sang to her over Skype and, though not audible in the video, he also serenaded her by singing along at the altar.
