Guy Sits On The Edge Of A Terrifying Cliff To Discuss Why We Take The Risks We Do

There are no safety rails or barriers of any kind, but each year thousands of tourists still flock to the 1,982-foot cliff called Pulpit Rock in southern Norway, near Stavanger. It is a plateau, measuring 82 feet by 82 feet, which was formed around 10,000 years ago during the last ice age.

Known as one of the world's scariest, dangerous and most daring attractions, tourists dangle their feet off the edge (as seen in the background of YouTube user Tom Scott's video). Scott explores the idea of risk, immortality and what it means to be human. Despite the millions that have and will venture to this "scary attraction," it is relatively safe in terms of risk analysis.
