There are few pleasures in life that are as simple and delicious as eating a perfect grilled cheese sandwich. Unfortunately, according to Laura Werlin, we've all been doing it wrong this whole time... and as a bona fide cheese expert, she would know. Werlin has written six books on the subject of cheese and is a frequent television and radio guest, as well as a speaker at consumer and trade conferences. She also won the James Beard Foundation Award in 2004 for her book "The All American Cheese and Wine Book" and was nominated for her book "Laura Werlin's Cheese Essentials". Additionally, her first book, published in 2000, is often credited as setting the stage for the recent American artisan cheese movement.
