His Father Died And His Brother Left For The Marines, But That's Not Why He's Crying Now.

Brothers Bailey and Meyers Leonard have always been close. When their father passed away while the boys were still very young, Bailey says he took on the mantle of a father figure for his little brother - despite an age difference of just 22 months.

The family went through hard times, sleeping in the living room with no money to pay for electric bills. Eventually, Bailey joined the Marine Corps to serve in Afghanistan while Meyers, at over 7 feet in height, became a phenomenon on the basketball court.

This touching video is the surprise reunion between the brothers just hours before an important game. Since the video was shot, Meyers was drafted by the Portland Trailblazers as the 11th pick of the 2012 NBA draft.
