Honey and Garlic
Finely chop 2-3 cloves of garlic and add a tablespoon of honey.
This mixture, when ingested daily, can boost both energy levels and your immune system. For an even more potent recipe, try the following:
Garlic Flu Tonic
- 5 garlic cloves, coarsely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger, chopped
- Raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 red chili peppers, coarsely chopped
Take care to wear gloves or otherwise protect your skin, as sensitive areas might be adversely affected if exposed to the natural oils in the ingredients.
In a 350-500ml Mason jar, mix all the ingredients together, then top the jar off with apple cider vinegar. Seal the jar with about 1cm of space left at the rim, and keep it in your pantry. This mixture should be taken daily on an empty stomach to prevent sickness, or until symptoms disappear.
