Although this video seems mostly centered on weather anomalies, it's actually teaching us a lot about something psychologists refer to as "confirmation bias." A series of experiments in the '60s found that people tend to pay closer attention to information that confirms their existing beliefs. People also tend to interpret ambiguous information in favor of their position.
Weather and climate have been the topics of discussion over the last few years. It seems like, while some people are absolutely convinced that the weather is getting weirder and weirder, others just can't see what all the fuss is about. So what's really going on here?
