Introducing "Hello Barbie," The World's First Interactive Barbie Doll
Apr 9, 2015
That's right, Mattel's iconic doll is getting a major 21st-century upgrade with voice recognition technology provided by ToyTalk, a company with various other successful smart device apps that utilize speech recognition to interact with kids. With an A.I. that works quite similarly to the iPhone's Siri, the Hello Barbie can interact intelligently and in real time based on what your child says. It also has WiFi capabilities and cloud storage to be able to actively learn the user's preferences.
These days, just about everything is becoming a "smart" version of its former self. From smart phones to smart homes, everything is getting hooked up to WiFi, so why should Barbie stay behind?
