Japanese Cat Owners Took Doll Beds From IKEA And Turned Them Into These Awesome Beds.

In Japan, some innovative cat owners have re-purposed popular doll beds from IKEA, turning them into adorable beds for their cats and other small pets.

The bed sells for $20, and although it was originally made for dolls, it may become IKEA’s first entry to the pet furniture market. Coincidentally, the slot at each end is an excellent feature for cats, as it gives them space to stretch out their tails and relax.

However, cats are not the only animals that enjoy the beds. Some rabbits and dogs have also taken to the new napping spots, inspiring some pet owners to make more room by turning them into bunk beds.

The bed works for bunnies, too.

What do you think of these clever cat beds? Should IKEA make it official and create their own line of pet furniture?
