Seeing a lion in the wild is an unforgettable experience. They’re the second largest species of big cat, but they generally avoid human contact.
However, in what appears to be a preserve or sanctuary, we get to see one adorable little lion cub up close and personal. At this age, cubs are very curious and haven’t yet developed the good sense to avoid things that could potentially hurt them yet.
So, this little cub had no problem popping out of the grass to say "hi". He walks right past the person taking the video while making very quiet noises. He opens his mouth and a bellowing roar comes smashing out. Just kidding - he tries to roar and it’s an adorable little squeak.
Looks like this cub has some growing to do before he’s going to be intimidating anyone with that roar.
