Little Boy And His Mom Were Living In A Car, Until A Cop Took Matters Into His Own Hands

Homelessness in the United States is actually more of a problem than most would believe. While older individuals typically come to mind when we think about the homeless, the fact is that one in every 45 children will experience homelessness in America each and every year. More than a quarter of these children have experienced violence in their families and their disadvantage often leads to delayed development and learning disabilities. Noticing that a family was sleeping in their car at a park, Police Officer Lt. David Natt decided to investigate. In the car he found Robert Wood and his family setting up shop for the night as they had nowhere to stay. Lt. Natt knew he had to do something, and what happened next was truly inspiring.
