Gaggle Of Geese Takes A Stroll With Some Musical Accompaniment
If you've never seen geese parading in line with a marching band before, then prepare to be delighted. This is the Ganzenparade, or Geese Parade, in the town of Veldhoven in the Netherlands. It's exactly what it sounds like: a row of geese march down a street, with the two human members of the marching band on either end of the line to provide some musical accompaniment.
While it might seem strange, this is a fairly regular occurrence in the Netherlands, with such parades happening on special occasions. It is based on the ancient tradition of herding geese, and, as you can see, it's a big hit with spectators. This is truly not your average marching band.
