Some people love to dance, while others are too shy to try, but did you know that putting on your boogie shoes is good for your health? Studies have shown that children who are exposed to rhythmic movement learn better. Somehow the movement itself increases a person's capacity to learn. If they offered a dancing math class when I was in school, I know I would have signed up. Dancing is also known to release endorphins, those feel good boosters that uplift our state of mind. It also raises your heart rate, if you put in a little effort by grooving along for any length of time. Dancing is also a form of art: by expressing your emotions through movement you can be a moving piece of art.
