Mar 21, 2015
He broke the record on November 4, 2014, during a charity fundraiser for HELP (Hammons Education Leadership Programs). According to the official certification, he broke the previous record around 1 a.m. on November 4 and finished 4,321 pull-ups just after 2 a.m.
HELP is a non-profit business whose mission is to ensure students have the soft skills necessary for a successful career and the initial contacts in their field of choice.
A 54-year-old man from Corpus Christi, Texas recently set the world record for the most pull-ups in 24 hours. The record was made official last Wednesday, when he received his certificate from Guinness. Mark Jordan surpassed the old record of 4,210 with a total of 4,321 pull-ups. Why that number? Jordan said that he was getting tired, and he felt that 4-3-2-1 would be an easy number to remember.
