Mom Thought She Found Drugs, But Was Hilariously Wrong

Parenting is, without a doubt, the most incredible experience of most peoples' lives. You'd be hard-pressed to find a parent that doesn't count their child(ren) as the center of their world. But, that doesn't mean that parenting isn't completely and utterly terrifying at times. You spend an unbelievable amount of time worrying about your child and worrying about your decisions regarding your children.

So, you hope that by the time your child is 16, and practically an adult (but don't tell them that!), they've soaked up all the lessons you've tried to teach them over the years. And with these lessons and other imparted wisdom, you want them to make good choices and not hide things from you. That's undoubtedly the case of 16-year-old Ashley Banks' mom, who got quite a scare when she opened her daughter's nightstand drawer.

The conversation begins innocently enough. Ashley simply wants her mom to get a calculator for her.

While looking, Mom finds something she definitely wasn't expecting.

Of course, Mom's mind goes straight to "crisis mode."

Texts might not always convey tone accurately, but I think it's safe to say that she's freaking out.

Ashley, on the other hand, isn't worried one bit.

Instead, she gives her mom a pretty odd command: "Go put them in water."

In just a few minutes, the hilarious truth is revealed.

Remember those little capsules that turn into colorful sponges when soaked in water? (If not, run out and get some!) When that's all these "suspicious pills" turn out to be, Mom's relieved, Ashley's cracking up, and all is well in the Banks home again!

Don't forget to SHARE this silly story with your friends and family.
