Think of this as a more musically active "Kiss Cam" at professional games. Instead of asking one fan to lean over and kiss another, though, the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies ask their fans to play the bongos. In reality, the bongos are just displayed on the screen and the fan is supposed to pretend as if he/she is playing them.

A season ticket holder for the past seven years, Malenda Meacham, and her son were at the game the night that the Bongo Cam was first unveiled. It just so happened that Meacham's now-18-year-old, Hayden, was there for the embarrassment as well. After that initial game, Grizzlies reporter Chris Herrington wrote about her antics and her mortified son. Soon, everyone in Memphis was calling her the "Bongo Lady," now known as the team's biggest fan.
