Before you take your next selfie, you might want to thank George Eastman. Mr. Eastman founded Eastman Kodak, one of the most famous photography film brands in American history. Kodak Park, Kodak's home plant, is located in Rochester, New York. It was once the largest factory in the world. A series of Eastman's inventions in the 1880s revolutionized photography long before Instagram. Kodak is credited with simplifying photography and bringing it to the masses. Kodak film is quite famous in Hollywood. Literally thousands of classic movies, including The Wizard of Oz, and new hits, like Star Trek Into Darkness, have been shot on Kodak film. I wonder what George Eastman would think of the mysterious photos in this video.
