One Illustrator Finds A Fun Way To Spice Up His Daily Commute

Apr 7, 2015

Writer and illustrator October Jones, also known as Joe Butcher, is famous for his work like "Text From Dog" and for his sticky note characters, like Peppy the Inspirational Cat. But sometimes, he uses whatever he can get his hands on to help him pass the time on the commuter train that carts him to and from his workplace.

While on the train, he draws familiar cartoon characters (albeit sometimes with a different attitude than usual) and places them on the "heads" of other commuters. He even allows fellow passengers' clothing to determine the character choice, at times (note: The Hulk and Waldo).

He shares his drawings via his twitter account, (@OctoberJones) where he has nearly 70,000 followers.
