Paris Unity March Sparks An Impromptu Musical Performance

Jan 13, 2015
With all the happenings going on in Paris, from the Charlie Hebdo attack to the many, many protests that came to follow, the citizens of Paris got involved in a Paris unity march. With over one million people in attendance, including many international government officials, the march was a monumental event.

With all of these people at a standstill, one man decided to turn on his stereo to ease his neighbors' tension. When John Lennon's "Imagine" began to play, the surrounding marchers spontaneously burst into song, causing those around them to join in. The result: a beautiful and improvised performance of a John Lennon classic.
