Ninja Warrior U.K. first aired on April 11 of this year. The concept originated in Japan as a sports entertainment show known as Sasuke that branched off into many countries. In the U.K., auditions were held in 4 cities and eventually, 250 competitors were selected to run the course. They will compete during the show's eight-week run and will culminate with two semi-finals and a final. The premise is that a competitor races against the clock to complete a very intense assault course.

Toby Segar is a professional parkour athlete from Farncombe, England, and he participated in one of the five initial heats and had no issue progressing to the next round with a final time that was nearly an entire minute faster than the nearest competitor.
