Professional Stunt Rider Danny MacAskill Pulls Off An Epic Moon Jump

Mar 30, 2015
A solar eclipse is where the moon gets between the sun and the Earth. From the Earth, it appears as though the moon is covering up the sun and makes for some amazing photos. The most recent eclipse occurred on March 20 and it was a total eclipse.

Danny MacAskill is a professional mountain bike stunt rider, who, along with photographer Rutger Pauw, traveled to his homeland of the Isle of Skye in Scotland to capture the perfect picture. After searching the island far and wide and hoping for the very best picture, the duo relied on chance just as much as discovering the "right" location. Despite the weather, special photography equipment allowed Pauw to take the perfect picture during the eclipse. Arguably, this may be one of the coolest shots from the March 20, 2015 eclipse.
